OHL Mexico, S.A.B. de C.V. (“OHL Mexico” or “the Company”) informed the investing public regarding the illegal recordings distributed today in the media.
- A harassment campaign continues through the use of statements and tampering of illegally obtained recordings aimed at discrediting the Company before market participants, the authorities and the general public.
- The Company complied fully with the Juicio de Amparo Indirecto ruling filed by the company Tecnología Aplicada Infraiber, S.A. de C.V. Subsequently, Infraiber filed an appeal which the Second Tribunal Court in Business Matters of the Second Circuit determined invalid. The Company is and will be respectful of any ruling declared by the authorities.
- The Company carried out the investigations necessary to confirm who is behind the illegal recordings and expand the legal defense against any act that attempts to discredit the Company.
- These new illegal recordings show that the Company’s subsidiaries are only third parties damaged by various lawsuits interposed against the State of Mexico as responsible authority. The Company will continue working with the authorities in the defense against these lawsuits.
OHL Mexico will communicate, via the Mexican Stock Exchange, any event that the investing public should be informed of.
